  • Collection: The work and personality of the poet Maurice Carême (1899 - 1978) in his environment.
  • Description: This museum-house gives the possibility to discover the environment of one of the most famous Belgian poets and offers a faithful depiction of the author through several archives. Having become a "poet of childhood" in the French-speaking world as a whole, his work is also aimed at an adult audience. In his house, several works of art catch one's attention: furniture of that period, old china, paintings and drawings from famous artists, sculptures, musical scores inspired by his work, records and archives about the poet and his work.
